well into the new year and i decided to try out the css thingy for my journal. i had some sketches over from the banner contest at vox so i made it a banner for my journal instead. it's from one of my paintings and i like that you can see the texture because texture has been important to me lately.

i submitted a new painting called "guardian" not long ago. that's my latest effort and is really a painting that came from another painting called "rings". it's a painting about soul mates, but my view of it changed. i'm not sure i can explain it in words, if i could i wouldn't need to paint it. so i was amazed it was an angel since i'm not a christian. maybe it's a fairy (what do you think sharmay?). all i know is that she was around for a long time, just sitting there on the easel, and she wasn't complete until she had wings.
